Bio

Kirsten lives on the sunny Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Her love for books began at the age of nine when a family friend gifted her the first Harry Potter novel. Kirsten would spend hours cuddled up with a book and escape to the fantasy world.

When she was fifteen, she sat down at a computer to write her first novel. She soon realised it was turning out to be a complete rip-off of the movie Underworld, so she shut down the computer and her dream of becoming an Author.

At the age of thirty-one, while on maternity leave, Kirsten started to feel lost in the routine of motherhood and was ready to find herself again. She began to think deeply about what she wanted to achieve in life. One day a thought crossed her mind—write a book. The thought stuck, and she sat down in secret to have another shot at her dream. Kirsten fell in love with writing and worked on her book each day while her toddler napped. Her goal was to write a comfort book that someone would pick up and read over and over. Her first novel, Snowfall: The Last of Her Kind will be released mid-August 2023. She has shared her story in the hope that it may inspire someone else to chase after their dream. It's never too late to try something new!
